Getting Started: Connecting to your "Learning Portal"

The Xen Learning app is a companion application that connects to your specific organisation's courses. Because we host multiple independent schools and companies, you need to tell the app which "Learning Portal" belongs to you.

Step 1: Locate your Portal URL

Your Portal URL is the unique web address you use to access your courses on a computer. It usually follows this format:

  • organization-name.xenlearning.com

  • campus.yourschool.edu

Where to find it:

  • Browser History: Open the portal on your laptop and copy the address from the top bar.

  • Organisation Newsletter: Your school or company will usually include this link in their announcement email.

  • Administrator: If you’re stuck, ask your supervisor or teacher for your "Learning Portal Address."

Step 2: Connect the App

  1. Open the App: Launch Xen Learning on your mobile device.

  2. Enter the URL: Type your specific address into the "Enter the URL" field.

    • Note: You don't need to type "https://" — just the main address is enough.

  3. Tap Connect: The app will verify the address and link to your specific organisation.

Step 3: Sign In

Once connected, the app will display your organisation’s branded login screen.

  1. Enter Credentials: Use the Username or Email and Password, as provided by your organisation.

  2. Access your Dashboard: Once you tap Sign In, your courses, progress, and certificates will automatically synchronise.

Troubleshooting

  • "Site not found": Double-check the spelling of your URL. Ensure there are no spaces at the end of the text.

  • "Invalid Login": If you can't remember your password, tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen to receive a reset link to your registered email.

  • Changing Portals: If you need to connect to a different school or company, simply logout within the app to disconnect and close the app. At the next launch, you will be prompted to enter a URL.
