Using the Discussions component
To create a content-specific discussion topic, you can insert the discussion component to any page in the Xen Authoring Tool. The result is a discussion topic associated with a specific unit and its content.
Learners can access content-specific topics both within the course unit and on the Discussion page.
Important Guidelines
Follow the recommended steps to add discussion components.
Do not duplicate discussion components: Avoid using the Duplicate button or referencing the same discussion ID in multiple locations within your course. Duplicated components result in shared conversations across discussion topics, even if learners post in different locations.
Note: In courses with cohorts enabled, content-specific discussion topics are unified by default. This means all learners can view and respond to posts from any other learner. You can change the settings to divide these topics, ensuring that only group members can see an
