What are User Tags?
User Tags allow Staff members to label any users with custom labels, making it easier to organise, filter, and manage onboarded accounts based on specific criteria.
This feature enhances user management by providing a flexible way to categorise users for various operational needs, such as grouping learners by course progress, interests, roles, or other attributes.
Benefits of User Tags:
Flexible Organisation: Create custom tags that suit your unique requirements.
Easier Filtering: Quickly find and select users based on their tags, making it faster to manage enrolments, communication, and reporting.
Improved User Management: Apply tags for grouping users, enabling bulk actions such as enrolments, messaging, or report generation.

In the Xen Admin Panel, go to the Tags tab.
This tab provides an overview of all tags created in the system and the associated users.
Use this tab to:
Edit or delete tags: Modify existing tags or remove them as needed.
View users associated with each tag: See which users have specific tags and manage them accordingly.
Segment users for daily management: Simplify enrolments, communication, and reporting by segmenting users based on tags.
Editing and Deleting User Tags:
Go to the Manage Tags option in the Users tab or the Tags tab.
Select a tag to edit its name or description, then save the changes.
To delete a tag, select it and click on the Delete button. Note that removing a tag will also unassign it from all users.
Best Practices for Using User Tags
Create Meaningful Tags: Use clear, descriptive tags that make sense to all administrators managing users.
Limit Tag Overload: While tags are flexible, avoid creating too many similar tags, which can complicate filtering and management.
Combine with Bulk Actions: Use tags to quickly enrol users in courses, send messages, or generate reports for specific groups.
