Top level pages
Courses and spaces can contain top-level pages, to host special content you may want to share along the rest.
The top-level pages are always accessible from the main header of your course / space, making it is easy for your learners to use.
Most top-level pages can be shown or hidden, using the "Pages" section of the course/space toolbar.
There are 2 types of top-level page:
- System
- Custom

The Outline page
The Outline is the "home" page of your course or space and hosts a table of contents for all the sections & sub-sections, depending on their permissions and schedule.
You cannot hide the Outline page, as it is the only way to access the content of your course or space.
The Progress page
The progress page hosts the logged-in learner's progress across all graded content within your course or space.
The Progress page can be hidden.
The Wiki page
The wiki page hosts a full wiki engine within each course or space, providing instructors with a simple content management system to expand the existing courseware with content such as articles, blog entries, or thesaurus ...

The Discussions page
The Discussions page acts as a "forum" by centralising all the discussions present in your course or space, and allows learners to visualise the activity and participate from a single point.

Custom pages
You can create additional custom pages, to host static content, by navigating to the "Pages" section of the toolbar.
To create a new custom page, simply click the "+ Add a New Page" link.
You will be prompted with the "Edit" overlay, similar to editing a Text block in the Authoring Tool.
You can edit the page's name in the Settings menu.
Note:Once you've created a new page, it will immediately show to learners in your course/space. It is a good practice to keep the page hidden while you are building its content, if you don't wish for your learners to see any work in progress.
